Jessy Bodec served as wine supervisor at restaurants in France and at Chef Haim Cohen’s legendary “Keren” restaurant and served for three years as head sommelier of Raphael, Mull Yam, Toto and George and John in Tel Aviv.
He also builds wine menus, conducts wine tasting workshops, trains professionals, advises professional and private wine bodies in Israel and France, judges wine competitions, is a member of the Wine Terms Committee at the Hebrew Language Academy, imports oak barrels to Israel, and grows vineyards in sustainable agriculture from which he produces unique wines.
In 2005, Jessy Bodec won the first place of the Jordan Prize for Wine Culture in the category of “Best Sommelier in Israel.”
Recently, Jessy was selected to represent the country in the rare wines of Jacques Seloss Winery.
